This function will save all open windows in the DAW and store it in one XML file, called a session. When you later reopen that session, all windows with their original data will return to their original positions, so you can start where you left off processing and analyzing your data. This session file can also be emailed to collaborators so they will see on their screen exactly what you are looking at. The data in the windows is live so further processing and analysis can continue.

Any number of window layouts can be saved as templates for future data acquistion sessions.  Size and placement for all image and graph windows are stored for immediate recall.  Eliminates wasted effort in optimizing screen layout when changing from one type of experiment to another.
